Far Caspian (Joel Johnston) is an Irish artist based in Leeds who combines elements or folk and lo-fi electronics. Living in the rural area of Fermanagh, he has a DIY approach, recording, playing and mixing all of the music himself. Re-working a song that was originally released last year, Joel has just released 'Warning Sign (feat. Somoh) (Alt Version)'. The song is instantly reminiscent of the English folk band Tunng, in it's folktronica tendencies. The tune is built from the ground up, starting with just an electronically processed vocal melody, then joined by acoustic guitar plucks, and electronic glitches.
